You may have a casino that you like and that you like to play at. Getting around IP blocking
If you have traveled abroad and have tried to watch TV programs on NRK’s or you have tried to log in to your gaming account at a Norwegian casino or similar, you have probably experienced IP blocking. When this happens you will be notified that the content you are trying to load is not available where you are. This is often very frustrating, even if you understand why it’s like that.
Fortunately, however, there are solutions that allow us to access the material we want, and in our case get the opportunity to play at our favorite casino even if we are in Gran Canaria or Crete. There are in fact many countries that have their own licenses or player licenses and in order to be able to load a casino, the casino must have an approved license or license. The best thing is, we think, when the casino uses IP blocking, because then we know immediately what we are dealing with. Load your browser in private mode

There are some free VPN services, but our experience is that these are difficult to configure and of rather varying quality. As the service is free, you can expect a lot of traffic and thus slow access.If you have a winter home abroad then this is definitely an option to consider.
Proxy setting in the browser
Many of the VPN services we talked about in the previous section offer a proxy in addition to their VPN connection, but sometimes you can buy this individually or you can find free alternatives. Today, a proxy often comes in the form of an extension that you can add to the browser and enable and disable as needed. This means that you can, for example, have a browser open as if you were in Norway and another with your actual IP address. This is a handsome and straightforward solution.
You will also, as in the case of VPN, find more that offer free proxy, but these services are of variable quality, plus you should be aware that these can collect information about your surfing habits, so beware!
Bombproof browser
The browser Thor is another solution. This is a secure browser where you as a user are kept completely anonymous. No information about you or where you surf from is sent to the website. Thor is free to use and download, but you need some technological skills to install and use it effectively.
Things to keep in mind
However, it is important that you are aware that not everything is resolved using a web browser. You should also have a registered address in Norway for this to work. You can access the casino, you can create an account and make a deposit and you can even play. But when the time comes to make a withdrawal, at least the most serious casinos will ask you to verify your account. This is a process that means that you must document that you are who you say you are and that you live where you say you live.
This is something you do using a publicly issued identification. And by public is meant the public in Norway, so that it is a matter of presenting a passport or driver’s license.
